Even though we've taken the Progressive Era test, we're not quite done with the subject. As we have noted, the reforms of the Progressive Era live on today. We saw a couple of examples yesterday.
It was election day across the nation and voters were not only electing government officials, they were voting on a big initiative (a process in which citizens can put a proposed new law directly on the ballot) in Mississippi and holding a recall vote (process that premits voters to remove public officials from office before their term is expired) in Arizona.
