Progressive Era Reforms in the News

Even though we've taken the Progressive Era test, we're not quite done with the subject.  As we have noted, the reforms of the Progressive Era live on today. We saw a couple of examples yesterday.

It was election day across the nation and voters were not only electing government officials, they were voting on a big initiative (a process in which citizens can put a proposed new law directly on the ballot) in Mississippi and holding a recall vote (process that premits voters to remove public officials from office before their term is expired) in Arizona.

Ok, it's your turn.  What do you think about the election results?
